CELLERpersoN/BREWER/BARTENDER
Baere Brewing Company is looking to hire a brewer/cellar person/bartender for our growing operation in Denver’s Baker Neighborhood. The role we are looking to fill is a broad one which requires a good multi-tasker with excellent attention to detail and cleanliness. Initially this person will be working three 6 hour shifts in the brewhouse and two taproom shifts.
In the brewhouse, this person will be tasked with a variety of roles including cleaning and maintaining fermenters and brew kettles, cleaning and filling kegs, helping with occasional bottling runs, assisting with brewing, and general cleaning. Ideally this position will grow to include additional roles throughout the brewing process. We are a small operation and a good attitude and good communication skills are imperative.
In the taproom this person will share their knowledge and interest in beer without being condescending or pretentious. Our ideal candidate is fun and sociable and always maintains professionalism. Baere is known for our engaging and respectful staff, as well as our wide offering of solid beers. We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual who will continue in our friendly tradition and represent our beers well.
The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of professional brewing and/or cellar experience, a solution oriented mindset, and a fundamental understanding of all brewery processes. The ideal candidate will also have professional customer service experience in a high pace environment. Appreciation of craft beer is a must and formal brewing education, TIPs training, and Cicerone certification are a plus. Pay will depend on experience.
If you haven't been in before, please come say hello and try our beers before applying for the position. We will only be able to interview our top candidates and it will be helpful if you were already familiar with our establishment and feel that you are a good fit for our brewery and community's vibe. We look forward to meeting you!
